LEARNING OBJECTIVES The course covers introductory notions of health law and constitutional principles on health law, through an in-depth analysis of the evolving phases of health law. Particular attention is devoted to regulatory instruments of health law, the functions of the national health service and the legal status of the National Health Service staff. The ethical principles and ethical values of the relevant health professions, health communication, clinical risk and professional responsibility as well as the quality of health care will be discussed.
