Course Program The course aims to provide an overview of the history of psychology and the main topics covered in the field of cognitive psychology In particular, the origins of psychology and the main psychological currents will be addressed. Some topics that are particularly relevant in contemporary research, such as learning, memory, intelligence and language, as well as emotional-motivational aspects, will then be explored. At the end of the course the student should be able to know the methodologies and tools used in psychological research. 1. Scientific method and origins of psychology 2.
