Students are expected to learn (ESP) English for specific purposes: English used in academic and professional contexts. They are expected to understand the basics of Business English, learn the language of global communication, read and write e-mails, receive and make business phone calls, learn the appropriate language to attend conferences and meetings, and, know how to gist and scan read pre-selected articles dealing with the world of work. The overall aim is to lead the student to be able to use the specific language in real working contexts. 1st MODULE An introduction to business;- Marketing- Personal and professional details;-Making arrangements. 2nd MODULE -Company performance;-Business communication; -Achievements and plans; -Travel arrangements. 3rd MODULE -Orders and contracts ; Problems and solutions ; Meetings; Job applications
