(syllabus)
The course has the primary objective of acquiring general basic skills on the history of pedagogy and educational institutions from the second half of the 18th century to the end of the 20th century, with particular reference to Italy. At the end of the teaching process, the student will have to demonstrate knowledge of the main exponents of pedagogical thought, as well as the fundamental steps of educational practices and school policies. The entire History of Pedagogy and Educational Institutions course will necessarily be intertwined with the socio-economic, political and religious events that have marked the contemporary age
