KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING CAPABILITIES REQUIRED THAT ALLOWS TO PROCESS AND / OR APPLY ORIGINAL IDEAS OFTEN IN A RESEARCH CONTEXT (DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR NO. 1) The in-depth knowledge of the issues related to health psychology should allow the student to undertake research paths, also of a comparative nature, functional to the critical analysis of specific issues and the identification of original solutions. In particular, the student will be in possession of tools for understanding and evaluating health, prevention and intervention as well as an overview of the professionals working in the field of health, thus being able to interpret the different contexts and develop original ideas.
SKILLS REQUIRED TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND ABILITY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS (DUBLIN DESCRIPTOR NO. 2) The acquired knowledge will allow the student to interpret and apply the health psychology both in university and post-university research contexts, and more generally to interpret and apply what has been learned in real contexts. In this sense, the student will be able to plan and implement individual and social prevention activities, intervention for the restoration of health and initiatives to increase health, to interpret and evaluate requests and concrete situations, to communicate their own activities and to collaborate with other professionals involved in the processes.
