LEARNING OBJECTIVES The course introduces the students to the current penal and International problems through the study of the evolution of the International criminal law. In this way the students will have the possibility to analyze the juridical and cultural phenomena better as foreseen by SUA also by examining and evaluating historical examples of case law. COURSE CONTENTS Chapter 1: The sources of International criminal procedural law and the International Court Chapter 2: Evaluating internal law and International terrorism Chapter 3: Reactions following the 11th September and the internal legislative capability Chapter 4: legal act emission and European arrest warrant Chapter 5: Security at a European level Chapter 6: Arrest warrant results Chapter 7: Fighting organized crime and self-defense Chapter 8: The context of the European criminal law
