The broad goals of her research program are: (i) Radar Signal Processing, Design of adaptive architectures for target detection buried in noise, clutter, and intentional interference and classification schemes for radar applications. (ii) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Analysis of advances in processing techniques for the design of automatic classification of the dominant scattering mechanisms associated with polarimetric SAR images. (iii) Passive Radar Signal Processing, The development of innovative algorithms able to process Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry (GNSS-R) observations for the analysis of sea surface. She has published 17 journal papers, including 4 in IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and Aerospace and Electronic Systems in the last 2 years, and 23 conference papers. AWARDS and DISTINCTION: - She has received the IEEE IGARSS Travel grants (1400$) in 2010 and (300$) in 2017. - She has received the Best Poster Presentation in the IEEE Metrology for Aerospace in 2017. - She was co-author of the selected paper for 2ND alternate TOP 5 finalist in the student paper competition of the Radar conference in 2019. - She has been elevated to IEEE Senior Member Grade in 2019.
